Everyone in
Europe acknowledges that the new EU Constitution is the old constitution except
in name.
We British were
promised a referendum should the old defeated referendum ever be resurrected. It
has been, but our new Prime Minster Gordon Brown, aware that he hasn’t a chance
of obtaining our consent has adopted the coward’s stance of claiming that it is
not, and therefore does not require a referendum.
And so it is
that when UKIP, alone of all the other political parties started a petition
demanding our right to a referendum, I have no hesitation in bringing it to the
notice of our readers.
You may, or may
not agree that we should have a say on the EU Constitution, but here is your
chance to demand one if you do.
