It is time to ban the wearing of the
burka in the UK. This black sack with holes for the eyes is a symbol of Moslem
extremism that has nothing to do with religion.
For decades both the Conservatives and
New Labour have preached the benefits of multiculturalism; the Tories to
guarantee a plentiful supply of cheap labour, and New Labour to gain extra
votes.
There is no denying the facts; hundreds of thousands of foreigners have settled here and assimilated
themselves, and their children, into our society, and in doing so have earned
the right to be called British.
However, only a fool or a liar would
deny that New Labour’s deliberate vandalism of tearing up border controls and
its refusal to control immigration has stretched our infrastructure to breaking
point. Educational facilities, health care, and housing, are in crisis but, now
there has arisen a new and potentially fatal threat – Islam fundamentalism, our
Achilles heel.
Islamic fundamenalism, forget the propaganda, is an
isolationist religion. It regards non-believers as the enemy and is dedicated to
turning Britain into a Moslem state.
The burka is not a symbol of feminine
modesty but an aid to deceit, as the Moslem juror who was caught listening to an
MP3 player beneath her burka, and who was photographed with her face exposed
before entering the court, clearly demonstrates.
No-one should be permitted to conceal
their face, or identity behind a mask in a free and open society. We respond to
people by observing their facial expression just as they observe ours.
Why should we permit Moslem women
exclusion from this basic human courtesy?
We should not.
We should ban the wearing of the burka
in public immediately.
